I’ve been using my Dyson Humidifier for several months now. As a parent, it is one of those items that has always been on my list of things I’d love to own, however I have been weary in the past because I know they can harbor and breed bacteria. I love knowing that Dyson has found a solution to this rather gross problem. Below are the reasons I’m still in love with this humidifier.
3 Reasons I love my Dyson Humidifier
It Diminishes a Christmas Fire Hazard
Christmas is a special time of year. Hanging lights on the tree…decorating to your heart’s content…however your perfectly picked Christmas tree can also be a significant fire hazard. Did you know that having a humidifier in the same room as your tree can help to provide the tree with moisture throughout the day? Keeping your tree hydrated is one of the best ways to prevent a fire. A humidifier has the added benefit of helping to keep your tree fresh and flourishing through to January!
It’s Clean.
Other humidifiers can breed bacteria and release it into the air around you. Unlike other humidifiers, Dyson’s actually kills 99.9% of bacteria as it provides moisture to the air. Its Air Multiplier technology uses ultraviolet light to kill bacteria in the water before releasing it into the air. It’s a huge comfort to know that I’m breathing in air that is both clean and hydrated.
Cold and Flu Season
‘Tis the season for colds and flu. As our house has fallen victim, I have set up the humidifier in the room prior to going to bed so that we can all breathe a little easier throughout the night. Just don’t forget to turn it off before you tuck in for the night. You don’t want to leave it running while you sleep for safety reasons.
